Privacy Policy

PMI is committed to respecting your privacy. You can visit most pages on our site without giving us any information about yourself, but in some cases we collect personal information for the purposes described below. This notice explains our online information practices and the choices you have about how your personal information is collected and used. The effective date of this Privacy Policy is March 12, 2019.

Why we collect personal data

From time to time PMI may collect personal data for specific and limited purposes, which we explain to you when you provide it voluntarily or when we request the information. Personal data is information that tells us specifics about you, such as name, address, IP address and e-mail address. We may also track user traffic patterns and other non-identifying aggregated demographic information through this website. This information is collected in several ways.

On one web page, we request personal data about clinical investigators so we can identify and contact them to determine their interest and expertise in conducting clinical trials. Investigators selected to conduct clinical trials may need to provide additional information to actually qualify to work on the study.

If you are interested in an employment opportunity at PMI, we request and process your personal data to match your qualifications with open positions and to contact you regarding your interest.

Another web page allows you to provide us with your contact information, which we can use to correspond with you in connection with an inquiry.

How we use this information

The personal information you provide is stored in a database. This information will only be shared with employees or agents of PMI only to the extent necessary to accommodate your requests. PMI does not share your information with outside third parties without your explicit consent. However, as we develop our business, we may buy or sell assets or stock and, depending upon the transaction, your personal information may be one of the transferred assets. In the event that we are acquired by another company, your personal information may be part of the assets transferred to the acquiring party.

You have the right to:

  • request a copy of your data that you have provided to PMI
  • correct your data
  • withdraw consent to further processing of your data, in which instance we may be unable to continue any function for which the data was obtained (with the consequential effects)
  • prevent the further transfer of your data to third parties where you may be concerned there are inadequate data protection arrangements.

If you wish to exercise any of these rights, please contact us.

Exceptions

Except as described above, we will not otherwise use or disclose any of your personally identifiable information, except to the extent reasonably necessary: (i) to correct technical problems and malfunctions and to technically process your information; (ii) to protect the security and integrity of our website; (iii) to protect our rights and property and the rights and property of others; (iv) to take precautions against liability; (v) to the extent required by law or to respond to judicial process; or (vii) to the extent permitted under other provisions of law, to provide information to law enforcement agencies or for an investigation on a matter related to public safety.
